SportRx is hosting a blood drive at their new headquarters in San Diego tomorrow inspired by local Oakley Rep Mark Olson who was diagnosed with Leukemia in May. While he was in the hospital he needed three separate 2-pint transfusions. Thankfully SportRx’s Erin O’Fallon had the same blood type and was able to donate the quantity that Mark needed through the American Red Cross. Mark’s health improvement and Erin’s donation were the catalyst for the upcoming blood drive.
If you are in San Diego this Friday September 6th we invite you to attend between 1 pm and 7 pm to donate blood for such an important cause. In addition to the standard juice and cookies, all donors will receive a free gift and a gourmet ice cream sandwich from The Baked Bear. SportRx will also raffle off prizes throughout the event including an Oakley backpack in addition to swag from Arnette and APX Sports Drinks.
